Jonathan Gould is a Co-Managing Member at Stonemar where he has been involved in all phases of the company’s development since its inception in 2003. Mr. Gould is jointly responsible for all corporate decisions and focuses on sourcing investment opportunities and developing and managing joint venture relationships. He also leads all property management and leasing initiatives.
Mr. Gould has acquired more than $2.0 billion of real property during his 30-year career. He has also managed more than $30 million of construction, redevelopment, capital improvement projects and negotiated hundreds of leases. Mr. Gould also has participated in a variety of complex land assemblages and several office and residential development projects in New York City.
Of note, Mr. Gould spearheaded the $638 million acquisition of Prime Retail, Inc. (NASDAQ: PMRE), a publicly-traded REIT with 36 outlet centers and 10 million square feet that was sold for $2.2 billion in 2010 to Simon Properties Group. From 1998 to 2001, he was a Senior Vice President at SL Green Realty Corporation (NYSE: SLG) where he was responsible for the REIT’s acquisitions, dispositions, and financing of more than $1.5 billion of commercial office and retail properties. From 1988 to 1998, Mr. Gould was a partner and Executive Vice President in charge of acquisitions and real estate at Icon Parking Systems, an owner-operator of parking facilities, commercial and multifamily properties, and development sites throughout New York City. During his tenure, he led the company through its principle expansion phase, growing its portfolio of parking assets from 52 to 115 locations. He also assisted in transforming Icon into the city’s largest private owner of parking facilities, and he positioned it for an eventual $275 million recapitalization with the Whitehall Fund, an affiliate of Goldman Sachs.
Mr. Gould earned a B.A. from the Boston University School of Management and a J.D. from New York Law School. He was admitted to the New York Bar and the Connecticut Bar.
Greg Guido is a Co-Managing Member at Stonemar. He is is jointly responsible for all corporate and strategic decisions and for growing and managing the company's property portfolio. Mr. Guido specializes in sourcing, analyzing, valuing, structuring, negotiating, and closing new investments and is responsible for developing and managing all debt and joint venture equity relationships.
Mr. Guido has acquired and advised on more than $10.5 billion of real property during his 20-year career. Prior to Stonemar, he specialized in acquisitions for Antares Investment Partners, The Praedium Group, and Liquid Realty Partners. Mr. Guido also consulted on acquisition, development, repositioning, and portfolio-valuation projects for Cerberus Capital Management, Centro Properties Group US (now Brixmor Property Group), General Electric, and Argent Ventures.
Additionally, Mr. Guido was a Board Member of Whiterock Real Estate Investment Trust (TSE: WRK.UN) from the company’s inception in 2005 through its $1.4 billion sale in 2012. Whiterock was a Toronto-based company publicly-traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange that owned and managed 11 million square feet of office, retail, and industrial assets throughout Canada and the United States. Mr. Guido was a member of the REIT’s Investment, Audit, and Corporate Governance and Compensation Committees. He was also an elected member of the Special Committee responsible for analyzing and assisting in the negotiation of the REIT's $1.4 billion sale to Dundee Real Estate Investment Trust (TSE: D.UN) in March 2012.
Mr. Guido began his career in investment banking, specializing in mergers and acquisitions at SBC Warbug. He then spent several years in leveraged finance focusing on the energy sector at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Credit Suisse.
Mr. Guido earned a B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Melinda Schneider is General Counsel at Stonemar. During her career, Ms. Schneider has been involved in more than $750 million of real estate-related transactions, specializing in contract negotiation, leasing, and due diligence.
Prior to joining Stonemar, Ms. Schneider was a practicing corporate attorney with the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. During her tenure, she participated in more than $250 million of transactions, including a $150 million financing for Rohr, Inc. with Salomon Brothers. Specifically, she worked in the litigation and corporate departments in both the San Diego, CA and New York, NY offices and focused on contract negotiations, 10-K and 10-Q public filings, blue-sky law reviews, initial public offerings, and debt financings.
Previously, Ms. Schneider was a partner, executive officer, and member of the Board of Directors of Technology Education Network, Inc. (“TEN-TV”), a 100-employee satellite network serving corporations and government agencies. In 2001, TEN-TV was acquired by Loudeye, Inc., a leading provider of business-to-business digital media services.
Ms. Schneider earned a B.A. in International Relations from the University of California at Davis and received a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. She was admitted to the California Bar in 1992.
Vice President - Acquisitions
& Asset Management
Albert Brayson is a Vice President of Acquisitions and Asset Management at Stonemar. He is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, underwriting, and analyzing potential acquisitions and for assisting in asset management of our existing portfolio.
Prior to joining Stonemar, Mr. Brayson was an Associate with a New York City-based real estate company where he was responsible for managing a five (5) million square foot portfolio of retail and office properties. He began his career as an Analyst at Centurion Realty where he was responsible for the acquisition of retail properties and for the day-to-day property management of a large retail and mixed-use portfolio along the East Coast and in New York City.
Mr. Brayson received a B.A. in Management with a concentration in Finance from Boston College.
Nilda Wrigley is the Controller at Stonemar. She is responsible for the oversight of all property and corporate accounting, as well as for all financial and investor reporting. She also works closely with the company’s acquisition and senior management teams on a variety of growth and management initiatives.
Prior to joining Stonemar, Ms. Wrigley was the Accounting Manager and Human Resource Manager for Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, which owns and manages a 1.5 million square foot property portfolio, including the 340-key Teaneck Marriott in Teaneck, New Jersey. Previously, she was the Property Controller and Accounting Manager for First Evergreen Properties, a Senior Accountant at CBRE overseeing large commercial buildings for public and private REITs, and the Operations Manager for JMR Properties, which owns and manages a diverse portfolio of retail, office, and residential properties throughout the Tri-State area.
Ms. Wrigley earned a B.S. in Management and Industrial Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology, is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in New Jersey, and has received a Master Certificate in Human Resources and Organizational Leadership from Villanova University. She is also a SHRM Certified Professional in human resource development and management.
Dennis Renton is a General Manager in Property Management at Stonemar. He has more than 20 years of experience managing and leasing commercial real estate with an emphasis on retail property management and development.
Prior to joining Stonemar, Mr. Renton was Vice President with Polimeni International where he managed a regional retail portfolio as well as Class A office buildings. Previously, Mr. Renton managed urban and suburban retail properties for The Hutensky Group in Hartford, CT and The Brookhill Group in New York City. He began his career as an asset manager for New York Life Insurance and American Continental Properties.
Mr. Renton earned a B.A. in economics from Queens College. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of New York, and he has achieved the CSM management designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers where he has been a member since 1990.
DANIEL AMODIO, esq.
Analyst - ACQUISITIONS
& ASSET MANAGEMENT
Daniel Amodio is an Analyst in Acquisitions and Asset Management at Stonemar. He is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, underwriting, and analyzing potential acquisitions and for assisting in asset management of our existing portfolio.
Mr. Amodio began his real estate career as an intern at Stonemar while pursuing his law degree in 2015. Prior to joining Stonemar, Mr. Amodio was an Analyst at American International Group in their Financial Lines Insurance Group.
Mr. Amodio received a B.S. in Business & Technology with a concentration in Finance from Stevens Institute of Technology and received a J.D. from Fordham Law School. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 2017.
Jay Neisen is Of Counsel to Stonemar and currently manages a law practice representing clients in a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions and dispositions of real property, development, encumbrances, leasing and loan transactions. Mr. Neisen has served as in-house real estate counsel to Shoe Carnival, Inc., a national retail tenant with over 400 stores, was a partner in the real estate section of Smith Moore Leatherwood, a regional law firm with offices across the southeastern U.S., and associate general counsel to Zimmer Development Company, a regional development company based in Wilmington, North Carolina that owned and operated a five million square foot portfolio.
Mr. Neisen earned his B.S. from East Carolina University and J.D. from University of Tulsa, where he graduated with honors. Mr. Neisen is admitted to practice law in North Carolina, Virginia, and New York.
